If you’re vacationing in the Hamptons this summer, you DEFINITELY need to check out these spots!

Hotel: Surf Lodge in Montauk

The Surf Lodge is an enigma of a Hamptons-area hotel. On the one hand, it’s a glamorous spot to see and be seen, with luxurious amenities and celebrity guests. But at the same time, it’s an unassuming beach shack-style abode, just off Montauk Highway. Whatever you’re looking for, whether that’s a sunset concert, a Michelin-starred meal, or a nap in a hammock overlooking Fort Pond, you can find it at the Surf Lodge.

Restaurant: Duryea’s Montauk

Duryea’s, located in Montauk, gives guests the option to enjoy their meal with a view. They embrace their iconic reputation as casual seaside gems while embodying a chic and festive ambiance fueled by long, lazy rosé-filled days and nights. The captivating nature of the property is soaked in nostalgia, where time, the ultimate luxury, stands still. The restaurant even has its own retail fish market and lobster deck, so you know that the ingredients used at Duryea’s are extremely fresh.

Restaurant: Estia’s Little Kitchen

Estia’s Little Kitchen is located in Sag Harbor, New York, which serves up American food with a Southwestern influence. Locals treasure this as their secret spot—a simple roadside restaurant housed in a little red house that serves good breakfasts and lunch, as well as fresh, creative American dinner fare. The small establishment celebrates farm to table cooking and has a small garden on the premises in which greens are used for salad dishes. The motto of Estia’s is ‘Clean Food- Long Life.’

Activity: Ditch Plains Beach

At the most eastern point of the Hamptons on New York’s Long Island, the Atlantic crashes ashore at Montauk, also known as “The End.” Today Montauk’s Ditch Plains beach, a sandy stretch backed by dense greenery, is a popular east coast surf spot. In a former life it was a lookout point for the Montaukett Native Americans who once inhabited the area. Many brave the waters year-round, even in blizzards, to ride the long break. Ditch Plains isn’t just a surf spot. At dawn and dusk it opens to dogs. They’ll often join their surfing owners in the water before the beach gets busy with sunbathers.

 Parrish Art Museum in Southampton

The Parrish Art Museum is a place to discover and connect with artists and art with a focus on the rich creative legacy of the East End and its global impact on the art world. They present 15 temporary exhibitions each year, including new installations drawn from their world-class collection of more than 3,000 works, special exhibitions that reconsider the work of a single artist, and group exhibitions that explore compelling themes. The Parrish produces over 100 public programs—film, music, and talks—and offers a year-round schedule of inspiring classes and workshops.
